A Walk To Remember

From where I left of before, now Jamie has just given Landon her bible as a gift. Landon also gave Jamie a sweater. When Landon walked Jamie to her front door, this is when their first kiss takes place<3. Since New Years was coming up, Landon wanted to take Jamie out to eat but he had no money left because he donated pretty much all of it to the orphans. So, Landon's mother said she'd plan something special for him and Jamie. Landon would need Hegberts permission before taking Jamie out, and at first he said no but he ended up changing his mind when Landon told him that he loved Jamie. Their New Years dinner was their first actual date. When Landon tells Jamie that he loves her, she begins to cry and tell him he cant. Jamie explains to Landon that she loves him also but she has leukemia. Jamie was dying, and they didnt have much more time together. Jamie soon becomes very ill, and no longer goes to school. Landon continues to go over everyday and read to her, no matter what she looks like she is always beautiful to Landon. Soon enough, people are crying over Jamie's illness and many people come to visit her to see how she is doing. Landon is so in love with her, he does not care if she is dying or not he wants to marry her. Getting married was her only wish for the future, she didn't even want to go to college. Landon got his parents permission and Hebert's permission and asked Jamie to marry him. On their wedding say, Jamie was in a wheel chair, but she managed to get up and walk down the aisle aside her father. Landon says that is a walk that he will never forget. Forty years later, he stills wears his wedding ring. He believes now that miracles can happen. The last chapter of the book was so sad. I could not stop crying :( Especially when Landon is recapping that say, saying everything that he remembers from that day. This was the best book ever!!!
