A Walk To Remember

Continuing from where I left off.....Now in the book, Landon goes out with his friends finally after spending almost everyday with Jamie. But, when he is out with his friends, they see Jamie and all make fun of him and tell her that Landon wants to work with the orphans. Even though they were kidding Jamie took it seriously, and was so excited about it. Jamie says how in the future, the only thing that she wants to do is get married. All she wants is for her father to walk her down the aisle and she wants everyone she knows to be there. She wants the church to be busting with people. That is all Jamie wants in life. Jamie talks about how she loves to read the bible at night, and Landon wonders why. Well, the reason is, because it was her mothers bible. When her mother was passing away she gave it go Jamie. By this time in late December, the play is coming up. Jamie and Landon have been practicing for a while, but there is one line Landon can not nail..That is when he needs to tell Jamie she is beautiful. When the play actually came about, Landon's friends are proud of him because he finally matured, and did not ruin the play. For the first time, when Landon saw Jamie in the play with her hair down and makeup on, his jaw dropped and he finally nailed his line. She was beautiful. Landon starts to change and his feelings for Jamie grow. During Christmas break, he went around for her collecting money to buy gifts for the homeless. That shows that he really has changed, and I think its very sweet. When they had raised a lot of money Jamie began to cry. Landon and Jamie gave gifts to the orphans with the money that they raised. That is where the second section of my book ends. So, I will continue next Wednesday :)
