huckleberry finn

Huck and his friend Tom played games. They would pretend to be robbers. There names were the "Tom Sawyers Gang". HA i remeber those days, i did the same thing. Huck was very open to learning, but when trying to learn how to read he failed. Huck lives with Ms. Watson, to me she seems strickt. She punished him for getting his new clothes dirty. (I would hate that if my mom ever tried to pull something like that) His dad was an alchaolic who used to beat him. To me, that is very sad. At first, they belived he was dead, but soon found out that it wasnt him. Tom is Hucks best friend. Tom is more of the the romanitiscim person, not huck. Huck begins school, and he really isnt very bright. But, over time he improves. Huck finds his dads footprints in the snow, and goes to the character named Jim. Jim tells him that he will be safe, and his dad wont be around. But, surely he was wrong and his dad showed up that night. Hucks dad is very scary, and wants money from huck. With that money, he buys alchaol. Hucks dad does not want him to be in school, and doesnt agree with it. His dad took him and locked him in a cabin. He tried to escape, but was caught. He had to do many chores, and things for his dad. Until one day he escaped when his dad passed by him. He was on an island, and somehow met up with Jim. Thank god he had a friend. I know after a miserable experience like that, i would want someone, anyone for that matter to be with me.
