When Grizzlies walked upright

This reading made me think of the reading last night. This story had the same theme, about the coming of animals. One thing I would like to know more about this story is what happened to the chief's daughter. Was there anything he cast on her, that changed us people today. The characters are the chief, his daughter and the bears. I wonder if the bear getting punished to walking on four feet has anything to do with the reason some other animals walk on four feet. I was most confused when the chiefs daughter married a bear. That could never ever even be possible today. Its just wrong..... Its funny when I think of the fact he said, the bears could talk. It was sad when the chief made the bears walk on four feet, and not be able to associate like humans. That would be completely unnecessary. I could never imagine that being done to me, walking on all fours and not being able to communicate socially. It made me angry when the story ended, because I liked it. LOL :)
