Journal of First Voyage to America
Christopher Columbus October 21, 1492. He landed in San Salvador. I remember learning about Christopher Columbus in the 6th grade. It was actually one of my favorite topics in school. The place where Columbus landed was so exquisite, that no one wanted to even leave it. That's like me and the mall, I never want to leave when i go there. ;) As they were exploring the land, which was empty, Columbus found a snake which he killed and skinned. He kept the skin for the Highnesses. As they went in search to find water, they came upon the natives. After meeting the Natives, Columbus wants to sail to some other islands before they go back to San Salvador. Columbus wanted to go out and find spices and gold in the passage at Guisay. I found this story interesting because of the things that Columbus found and discovered. He discovered America, and also had contact with the Natives before any one else did. That is amazing to me since they are so important today, and we now learn so much about them. The part that most interested me was when the met the natives. The sadest part was when they killed the little snake :( snakes are suck cute little animals. Thats all for now BYE
