I think it was a big big mistake that they let the Duke and the King come along with them. All they have done is got them into trouble. they are only concerned with making money....of course. Thats all people are concerned with now a days hehe. They do sneaky ways to do this too...Well, huck and jim go to the circus and LOVE it! there amazed by all of the things going on. The duke and King decide to put on a show in order to make money, which was a very harsh thing do...it worked though. i would feel totally terrible and could never do that to anybody. I dont know how they get away with these thins. I feel bad that Jim and Huck have to go along with their evilness. Jim tells him the story about his daughter Elizabeth and that he treated her badly. he didnt know that she was deaf, and he kept yelling at her and she would laugh because he looked funny. So, he smacked her across the face. THEN realized she was deaf. That is terrible, and I really do feel awful for that little girl. Huck realizes that Jim is a person, and that he cares about his family more than Hucks family cared about him. Now he knows that Jim is sentamental and is a good friend. Later, the duke and king hear about the Wilksies and decide that there going to take money that is in the family inheritance. So, they pretend to be the brothers. huck does not like this idea, so he steals the money and hides it and pretends that the black men took it. Huck later tells maryjane (the one who they were scamming) where he hid the money. After that Jim had gotten taken... he ened up at the Phelpses house. When Huck recieved a letter, he went down there to get Jim back and ironically ran into Aunt Sally. Tom Sawyers aunt...Well thats it for now, be back friday =)
